Thanks for your easy to follow template to get an expired lease terminated. Our gas lease expired June 2012. I sent a letter to Talisman in early Dec. 2012 requesting a lien release, following your suggestions exactly. I just went down to file my letter, and proof that I sent it to them. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Talisman filed a lien release at the end of Jan. 2013. I’m pretty sure that my letter prompted action on their part. Thanks.
